We deliver meals to seniors living at home (in Acme, Linden & Three Hills). We also deliver frozen meals on wheels to the rest of the county.

Businesses and service groups often ask Seniors Outreach volunteers to assist with community-wide events (pancake breakfast, Red Rose Campaign, FCSS, etc.) as needed.

They assist seniors with small household tasks (as requested).

We knit slippers, scarves, mitts & hats for local shelters, global charities, and special projects (as desired). 

Seniors Outreach has been facilitating the collection of knitted and crocheted squares for Blankets for Canada Society Inc., a registered non-profit organization that provides handmade blankets to those in need of warmth and comfort across the country. 

Blankets for Canada has been serving for over 25 years, distributing more than 110,000 blankets through agencies such as homeless shelters and women’s safe houses. Since the completed squares and blankets made by our Volunteers are delivered to the head office in Lethbridge for distribution, Seniors Outreach is currently looking for a volunteer driver willing to transport our collected donations to Lethbridge/Edmonton and for someone willing to become the collection coordinator in Three Hills.
